Community Engagement

APD-U believes that planning with rather than for a community results in recommendations that are more likely to be supported and implemented with transparency. Our experience has shown that the resident ideas provide a creative addition to the expertise of the consulting team and clients. Our participatory approach to community engagement utilizes a variety of tools from planning through implementation to engage the community to build project support and reinforce confidence of stakeholders that everyone is working in their best interest. Community engagement is a featured component of each of APD-U’s projects, no matter how small or large.
