APD-U began this work as a project with Thadani Architects + Urbanists in the Westside Future Fund’s Land Use Action Plan. The Land Use Action Plan is a design and implementation strategy to revitalize the Westside community of Atlanta, in partnership with the City’s Department of Planning and Community Development, the Westside Future Fund developed a Land Use Framework Plan to guide future development.
APD-U was tasked to lead community engagement and the creation of Land Use Framework Plan which includes coordinating a monthly series of week-long public and stakeholders’ meetings for the six targeted areas of Mims Park, AUC, Ashview Heights, English Avenue, Vine City and Castleberry Hill.
