Project Scope
The City of Mobile engaged APD-U to develop the Texas Hill/South Oakleigh Neighborhood Revitalization Plan. The project scope included an analysis of existing conditions, review of current efforts in the area, and redevelopment recommendations based on existing market conditions for an area that included two historic districts.
Our Work
APD-U facilitated the development of a Neighborhood Revitalization Plan to guide the revitalization of the historic Texas Hill/South Oakleigh neighborhood founded upon a community involvement process. The Team facilitated a visioning session for over 100 community residents and stakeholders, conducted a parcel analysis of the physical conditions and a residential market affordability scan, and facilitated a decision-making process to identify possible catalytic projects areas for stabilization, restoration and revitalization.
