Project Scope
APD-U worked with Kendig Keast Collaborative to create a new Comprehensive Plan for the City of Florence. APD-U was tasked with leading community engagement for three neighborhoods in Florence, where APD-U has worked extensively. Additionally, APD-U was tasked with conducting a demographic analysis for the same three neighborhoods the firm is leading community engagement efforts in.
Our Work
APD-U has a long history of working in Florence, especially in the in East, North and Northwest neighborhoods. This experience allows APD-U to craft a community engagement plan that for the neighborhoods that maximizes participation. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, community engagement moved to online platforms. To ensure online community meeting are engaging for all resident, APD-U crafted an online engagement strategy that maximizes participation and offers several ways for attendees to provide input. In person community meeting will be still be utilized for the project, once it is safe to do so.
