APD-U has widespread experience working on diverse branding/marketing campaigns for communities/regions/ organizations, commercial and residential development projects, and public awareness and advocacy campaigns. APD-U has continually helped communities and neighborhoods shape a clear vision, identity, positioning and most importantly, assist communities and neighborhoods in branding stories that build a place-based emotional connection. Using a comprehensive asset-based methodology, APD-U’s branding/marketing/ communication community development strategies are developed using in-depth market analysis, appropriate research, resident and stakeholder interviews, individual and community assets inventories, and brand strength analysis. We then utilize public relations, “influencer” word-of-mouth, social networking and traditional media where appropriate in communicating a multifaceted brand story to community stakeholders to facilitate, strengthen and enhance the brand, with the ultimate goal of residents and stakeholders becoming brand ambassadors of their own communities and neighborhoods.
